Insight MRP has been designed with small to mid-sized manufacturers in mind. It is a full featured, powerful system yet it is low cost and easy to use. It does not require an MIS department to install or maintain. The system is a 32bit Windows application developed in Visual Basic with an Access database engine, and uses Crystal Reports as its reporting tool. This combination provides quick and easy access to the data and allows the user to customize both the database and the reports. Insight MRP is applicable to a broad range of non-process industry manufacturing environments including make to order shops, make to stock environments, Just-in-Time manufacturers and hybrid environments incorporating a mixed mode of techniques. The manufacturing software is sold as a single integrated package. At this time the system does not include an accounting module, a custom accounting interface can be created upon request.
